Information of acoustic panels
High performing and designed to reduce reverberation and reflected sound within a space. These Class A (40mm air gap installed on timber battens) or Class D (Direct to wall) panels are available in 5 wood veneer finishes:
- Light Oak
- Smoked Oak
- Grey Oak
- Charcoal Grey
- Walnut
Acoustic timber slatted panels can be used in any space where reverberation and echo is creating a problem with speech clarity and general noise volume. Typically this is associated with larger, more cavernous spaces like:
- Homes
- Offices, meeting rooms and board rooms
- Hotels
- Village halls
- Restaurants
- Schools, lecture theatres and auditoriums
- Courtrooms
- Home cinema rooms
- Music studios and rehearsal spaces
The sound absorbing polyester substrate is designed to dampen sound by absorbing sound energy and stopping this energy from continuing to bounce around the room. This also helps to remove reverberation within the room.
The more panels used, the better the room acoustics will be. This is totally dependent on how many you would like to use, or the design of the panels within the room. The full wall or ceiling can be covered to maximise performance.
